It includes not only all of the pieces on the CD of the same title, now as film, but over 30 minutes of new material: John Cage's most (in)famous piece of music, 4'33", and an extended interview with Gary Verkade. Note
Validerad; 2013; Bibliografisk uppgift: This DVD production gives insight into the recording of the organ works of John Cage, their interpretation, inception, importance. It is a document of organ works that occasionally need up to six assistants to make the performance possible, it therefore demonstrates and reveals the process. The personal interview with Gary Verkade--who was intimately involved in the works since their inception and in one case involved in making the composition of a piece possible and practical (ASLSP/ORGAN2)--is of practical and historical importance for these works.; 20131205 (gave)
