Abstract [en]

Studying mixed granular flows where particles differ in size, density, surface friction, etc. is of importance for such applications as separation and mixing of granular materials. Using the APT (Accumulating Particle Trajectories) method the flow of particles of any one kind can be extracted from the total flow of all particles. It is required only that the different kinds of particles be given different gray values. The flow in a model experiment is shown
