Abstract [en]

A comparative study on miners' risk management (Sweden-Appalachia) was conducted to assess the significance of cultural and social characteristics on occupational health interventions. The results revealed a chronological generic pattern of occupational diseases. Observations in several industrial developing countries suggest a similar pattern, but on a larger scale.
