Abstract [en]

This Thesis reports about optical alignment where the optical system is unsymmetric. The method is an optimization procedure involving the Nelder- Mead downhill simplex algorithm. The main goal is to let an optical system adapt by itself untill it finally reaches the system requirements. We will start by describing the optical alignment problem with a mathematical approach, i.e. more in detail about the algorithm. Finally the experiments will be presented together with the results.
