Abstract [en]

In the business of broadband communication there is now and in the future a big market potential. The ADSL products that Ericsson Microelectronics AB (MIC) has developed are competitive. With ADSL high data speed can be offered through the ordinary phone cables. Ericsson Microelectronics AB is a component manufacturer and there is a need to be able to offer complete solutions and not only components. The purpose of this thesis is to develop a development card so that you quickly can connect MIC’s Analog font end (AFE) circuits to ADSL digital signal processors (DSP) from different companies in test environment. The need for this card is due to the different DSP: s also in most cases have different interfaces. The development cards main task is to convert the data format between DSP and AFE.
