Abstract [en]

This essay looks into the portrayal of McMurphy as a symbol of freedom, and it also discusses in what way McMurphy is reminiscent of Christ. The first part of the essay deals with how he challenges social authority. The second part discusses the parallels that can be made between McMurphy and Jesus Christ.
