This thesis consists of a user-oriented evaluation with the objective to identify patients´ experiences of treatment at the addicition treatment provider alConsulta. The evaluation was commissioned by alConsulta. The aim is to compare the results with Priebe et al:s (2011) five basic guidelines for good treatment and good communication and to investigate whether there are other important factors in addition to those described by Priebe et al. (2011). The evaluation is based on nine semi-structured interviews with former patients from alConsulta. The evaluation showed that Priebe et al:s (2011) guidelines are met by alConsulta. Other factors such as honesty and experience proved to be important for good treatment. Based on the results improvement proposals have been developed for activities, which primarily aims at ensuring good communication and customize each treatment to each patient's wishes and needs.Keywords: treatment, abuse and addiction, communication
