Abstract [en]

Tennis racket design is now close to optimum and due to the International Tennis Federation rules, few racket characterisitcs can be changed. The stringbed configuration is one of the racket characteristics that can be changed and which influence the game. Different racket performance paramaters were measured in the laboratory for different stringbed configurations and the same configurations were playtestsed. A comparison of these result was then made.
