Why do we make such big difference between children's and adult's music? We are all humans despite our age and have so much in common regardless. I have therefore studied how music for children can sound as mature as possible without underestimate children's ability to absorb music and lyrics. This has boiled down to a production with four songs for both children and adults. Interviews with children and people who work with children and music in different contexts has been done. I have also analyzed my own process from the ideas leading to the complete productions. One of my conclusions are that simplicity and clarity are key elements to make the music fit both children and adults. Theese elements can be found in a lot of music that isn't necessarily addressed to children, but can work for both children and adults.
