Abstract [en]

In this report we consider the L^p spaces. The first section covers the fundamentals of measure theory. The spaces L^p are introduced, and we show, that they are complete, and for 1 \leq p \leq \infty, they are Banach spaces. We study other important properties, as separability and dual spaces of L^p. The case of 0< p <1 is included.
