Delar personalledare organisationens värdegrund?: En studie om attityder till värdegrund
2011 (Swedish)Independent thesis Basic level (degree of Bachelor), 10 credits / 15 HE creditsStudent thesis
Abstract [en]

An organisation's values describe for its members how the organisation wish to be or become, guidethe members as to which behaviors are wanted, and how the organisation's goals are to be achieved.A strong and united organisational culture, where everyone strives for the organisation's goals, canonly be achieved when the members share the organisation's values. In this thesis employees'attitudes to their organisation's values have been studied. More specifically, whether the employeesfind it necessary to share these values in order to complete their work-related tasks, whether theyshare the organisation's values, and how these values come to expression in their day-to-day work.Ten interviews have been conducted with employees at ”Samhall”. The results showed that allemployees considered the values critically necessary for their line of work, all of them consideredthemselves to share these values, and that the values came to expression in several ways in theirday-to-day work. However, the values did not always come to expression in their work and this wasa cause of stress for some employees. Because of this some suggestions for improvement in theorganisation's way of implementing their values are presented.
