This master thesis is a product development project initiated by SCA AB. The main purpose was to develop a flexible mountingsystem prototype for three toilet dispenser models, specifically S1, T2 and H2. They should have the same mounting and it should minimize the damage to the walls. Focus was on flexibility, simple to mount and its robustness. The project has been following a structured product development process. It started with an information gathering through benchmarking, visits and interviews. It was followed by concept generation, selection and design. The result became a universal bracket that consists of two plates, one for the dispenser and one for the wall that fits the three models. The bracket is easy to mount, robust and it is flexible in the sense of fitting several different models and it minimize the damage to the wall. The result was presented in the form of sketches, CAD-models, drawings and a prototype.
