With the recent rise of smartphone and tablet computational power, developers are looking into new and innovative ways to create applications. One such application is the DragonBox game where users are taught math by abstracting the rules for solving algorithms and turning algebra into a game. This project examines how such a game is implemented and what kind of design choices have to be taken into account. The project is carried out at NUITEQ using their C++ multitouch engine and the end result is an application which is reminiscent of the DragonBox game and some key design choices are discussed.
