Abstract [en]

The aim in our thesis is to show how two new functions, In-band Signalling and Advice of Charge can be implemented in an ISDN router. In-band Signalling and Advice of Charge, respectively, is a method of sending signals over the same channel bandwidth as service being provided to a customer and the possibility to generate cost information.
