Structural health monitoring: debonding detection by electrical capacitance

Abstract [en]

A new technology for detecting debondings between CFRP components by electrical capacitance is created. In order to know better this early day technology, several studies are developed. More concretely three main points are considered in detail: 1) The influence between measurement points on the capacitance, where the accuracy of the technology is observed. 2) The influence of frequency of measurement on the capacitance. 3) The influence of temperature on the capacitance.
