Kankbergsgruvans aktivitetsplanering

Kankberg mine activity planning (English)
Abstract [sv]

identifiera gruvans flaskhals i salvcykeln utifrån insamlad data. I projektets

Resultatet

Abstract [en]

At the moment the Kankberg mine runs without an operations center,

i

mportant data collection is missing and the mine constraint is still unknown.

Mining is underground and mining method is pillar deposition with refilling.

The ore is a gold and tellur deposit.

The main purpose of the project is to investigate how a mining operation

central

would influence the mine’s current situation. The project is a case

study. The secondary purpose is to identify the mine constraint in terms of

the roundcycle. In the project's final moment an optimised plan is simulated

by using Theory of constraints.

The result shows that a mining operation central would be beneficial and

could bring a joint planning between the various departments of the mine.

Additionally, staff would be present above ground during the afternoon,

presently lacking in the current situation.

The Kankberg mine constraint is determined to be the bolting activity. The

result shows that planning should be based on the constraint.

The scale of the present test is small for which reason a major test is

recommended.
