This paper is anchored in key tenets of behavioral theory. The paper uses biases and errors in a megaproject context to problematize relevant issues within operations and production management. The paper further examines the role of nudges as behavioral tools and suggest that behavioral coping strategies link tools to actual or intended behavior. Finally, we suggest that nudges tools differ at different levels. Our categorize nudge tools and subsequent behavioral coping strategies with examples from a Swedish megaproject context. The findings are at an early stage and offer tentative conclusions.
