Abstract [en]

Examples are given of time dependent prestress losses in prestressed concretestructures caused by friction, creep, shrinkage and relaxation. The total losses varywith time and is often between 10 to 25 % after 50 years. The variation of resultsbetween different assessment and monitoring methods is considerable and more workis needed.
