Abstract [en]

Frequency and transient methods of inductive mining prospecting are often based on measuring the relatively low-frequency part of the spectrum as well as the late stage transient response. Within these ranges one can often achieve a significant reduction of geological noise. The author shows that the problem of calculating the electromagnetic field corresponding to these ranges can be reduced to one of solving Neumann's problem in potential-field theory
