The ergonomics education and training programmes adapted to needs and prevailing socio-cultural conditions of industrially developing countries (IDC) are discussed. The training programmes involve people in ergonomics intervention activities which create positive environment at work motivating employees to utilize their creative problem solving capacity. The easy use to 'Ergonomics Checkpoint' offers on-site assessments and adjustments part of daily activity within industrial settings. The workshop procedure provides tool for worker participation and involvement in problems identification and feasible solution development
