This recording presents four cantatas by the renowned German composer Jörg Herchet. Two of the cantatas are written for a very involved and complicated solo (concertante) organ part. Gary Verkade is the organ soloist for the Pfingstkantata (Pentecost Cantata). The "Querstand" label is a part of the Klaus-Jürgen Kamprad Verlag which, in addition to CDs, publishes books on music and research books in other areas.
